Hermann Gebers bought the farm in 1981 in the picturesque area between the towns of Somerset West and Stellenbosch. Situated on a ridge, the Post House Winery offers panoramic views of Cape Point, False Bay and the surrounding Helderberg Mountains. As the Homestead had originally operated as the Helderberg Post Office in the early 1900s, it was a logical step to associate the wine with its postal origin. The Post House Bulls Eye Cabernet Sauvignon 2021 was made with the utmost attention and detail to deliver an extremely high-quality end product. This red wine is a big wine with a nose of raspberry, mint, cigar box, chocolate and gamey meat. The palate is firm and oaky with rounded ripe fruit and tannins which gives length to the finish.
