Neil Ellis wines have been made from grapes sourced from the Stellenbosch district since 1984. The vision is to make distinctive refined wines that are expressive of their terrain and rank amongst South Africa’s finest. The Neil Ellis Jonkershoek Cabernet Sauvignon 2018 is a signature Cabernet Sauvignon for the farm and can be counted as a top-performing red wine in Stellenbosch. Its distinctive style, with all the hallmarks of the Jonkershoek Valley, represents a balance of elegance and power. The nose shows restraint with deep underlying aromas of complex blue and blackberry perfumes with a fresh palate followed by fine, smooth tannins.
